Salman starrer Ready Movie Review

Directed by Anees Bazmee and with the hot hot Salman, Ready tries to make you laugh a lot throughout the film. It has a bunch of actors where Salman and Asin able to stand themselves out from the crowd. The movie is full of punch lines as if you are watching a comedy show like comedy circus etc. One doesn't need brains to watch the movie but the movie will ofcourse make you feel light. With Salman having a midas touch in his hand now, the movie is bound to be liked by his fans. The movie is about do all good Prem (Salman) who falls in love with a gal (Asin) who has come into the house of Salman and family using a fake identity. This is a story which revolves around Salman mending the ways amongst the family member of Asin and in the course of doing that o series of punch lines has been used. Some will make u laugh and some will make you shake your head off. Paresh Rawal is also good. The biggest disappointment is in the form of underutilized Sanjay Manjerekar who plays the role of Salman's father.

And yes, in the end Salman manages to take off his shirt also for the gals. In all if you want to watch a brainless comedy then get ready for Ready. Dhinka chika dhinka chikadnika chika ae.. ae ae ae ae......

Infaltion and India

India is a land of diverse culture, caste, languages etc. Ironically, one thing that is common across the country is inflationary pressure. The country was already bleeding with a high inflation and the recent hike in petrol prices has added fuel to the fire. It is not only the direct consumer of fuel who will be affected but also the others. This will have a ripple affect on other commodities as well and hence the cost of other essential commodities like food is bound to soar.

The RBI has also chosen to curb inflation over short term growth. In its bid to do so, RBI has already increased the rates viz. repo and reverse repo. Following the suit are the banks who have increased their lending rates and hence soon there will be a liquidity crunch scenario in the market. But this is a negative check implied and this can never let a nation achieve its goal in the longer run.

Inflation is a result of deficit in demand and supply and what RBI is doing is to curb the demand but ideally it should be the other way round. India should try to increase its supply by making optimum utilization of the resources. There is a dramatic scope of increasing the yield in the agricultural sector by making use of the modern technologies. India should also switch to cheaper source of power like nuclear energy and renewable energy like solar, wind energy. The government of India should have open door policy for the companies both situated in India and abroad who want to start their operation here in India. The more the organizations come to India, the more development will take place and hence the more supply of the necessities will increase thereby curbing inflationary pressure in a positive manner.

The human capital should be seen as a resource than a burden on the country. India is fortunate to have a young population at this stage so there is a need to mobilize this human capital to generate wealth for all. This can be done bringing down the corruption in our system and provide opportunities for the youth to excel.

Hike in Oil Price

Suddenly from nowhere in the blue comes an announcement that the oil prices are set to be more dearer now. Is there a need for such rise ? Are other countries like China also doing it ?

Yes, other countries are also doing it but not as frequently as India (11 times in a year. The plain reason for this being that they have a control on black money and money laundering which India under the governance has lost completely. Congress is milking the opportunity of being place with a weak opposition party and hence the ministers are busy conducting their personal welfare than focusing on that of the country.

The mismatch between supply-demand is always said to be responsible for such higher level of equilibrium for oil prices. One can always take care of the supply side to some extent by making complete and efficient use of the fuel. Even today many commercial vehicles which ply on the road are as old as 20 years which add to wastage of fuel. As if this was not enough so to add to the wastage is the sorry state of our roads which slows down the traffic thereby decreasing the mileage of a vehicle.

If these issues are taken care of efficiently then the demand for the fuel can be brought down by a whopping 20% without affecting the lives of common men in any manner whatsoever.

Its high time that we start looking into these matters before its too late.

Secular means 'not connected with spiritual or religious matters'. India is a land of diversified culture and lands. Each state of the country has its own culture and language to follow. We feel proud to be a part of such diversified and united India.

However the irony is that this blessing of diversification is turning out to be a curse for India as a country. Cracks are transcending in the unity of the country thanks to people like Raj Thackerey who for their political interest are ready to sabotage this unity. I fail to understand the justification behind promoting a state above the country. And a bigger shock than that is the role of mute spectator played by the Maharashtra government. The recent attack on an MLA in the assembly while taking the oath unfolds the true SECULARITY of our country. An MLA was man handled inside the assembly because he was taking the oath in HINDI and not in MARATHI.
A suspension order was passed against the violator but will such trivial punishments bar the offenders? Why was the big fish Mr. Raj Thackrey not caught when the whole world knows that he is the mastermind behind it?
We need to agitate our mind and think about it. We should give our voice against it orelse these oppurtunist will always come and break us and hence would never ever allow us to grow.
There is an urgent need for every Indian to wake up before it is too late.
